We are looking for candidates for the position of Manual Machinist with at least 12 months experience.
The ideal candidate will:
- Work as part of a team or by themselves, setting and operating manual machines, vertical and horizontal borers.
- Be able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Use height gauges, micrometres and verniers to accurately measure finished parts.
- Be safety minded and ensure good quality workmanship that upholds company standards.
- Honest and reliable.
- Used to working in a precision engineering manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
Hours: Monday – Thursday: 8:00 – 17:00 and Friday 7:30 – 16:00.
Salary is negotiable depending upon experience. Holiday entitlement is 20 days + 8 bank holidays. The company is shutdown over the Christmas period.
